About

Hi, I’m Happy. Here’s the part where I’m supposed to tell you about myself, which is awkward but, you know, necessary.

I have a thing for words that do something. Words that pull their weight and break a sweat.

You know the kind: words with texture, honesty, a point of view, maybe a little bite. The stuff that lingers after you’ve closed the tab. Polished-but-empty writing? Hard pass. Work should earn its place, not fill space because someone decided we needed more content.

Officially, I’m a writer and strategist (the “creative person” label tends to attach itself regardless), which means I spend considerable time wrestling with ideas until they click. I look for the angle that works, not the one that sounds good in a brainstorm doc.

Content, messaging, brand voice: the goal is writing real enough to stick. Not another LinkedIn post that dissolves into the algorithmic soup five minutes after you hit publish.

Maybe that’s how my brain is wired, or maybe it’s from years of being stubborn about noticing the small details everyone else scrolls past. (A bizarre thing to be stubborn about, but here we are.)

I’m a mother to a small human and a Siberian husky. I’m happiest outside with a camera, chasing light that makes you stop and stare and question your life choices. Indoors: reading fiction, fussing over houseplants, and attempting the dark art of plant propagation. (Success rate: mixed, at best.)

If I sound like your kind of person, here’s my calendar. Book a call and let’s see if we can make sense of something together, or at least have a good rant about it.
