This was my first dive into content, and, in the spirit of full disclosure, I had no idea what I was doing. But I was committed to figuring it out the slow, slightly masochistic way, because probably I enjoy pain. Most days were spent wrestling with AdTech jargon (header bidding, ad fraud, all the usual suspects) and trying to translate it into something a non-robot could use. The routine: write, edit, publish, promote, mainline caffeine, repeat. Somehow this worked, and I ended up as Marketing Guru of the Year before I’d figured out where half the Slack channels lived. Dream or delusion? You decide.
